THE WEDDING by Nicholas Sparks

photo of Nicholas Sparks
Today over a conference call connection our Book Club discussed THE WEDDING by Nicholas Sparks. Everyone on the call said it was an enjoyable book. Not overwhelmingly great, but just plain enjoyable.

Here’s Nicholas Sparks’ description:
After thirty years of marriage, Wilson Lewis is forced to admit that the romance has gone out of his marriage. Desperate to win back his wife’s, heart, he must figure out how to make her fall in love with him. Again. Wilson is himself a man unable to easily express his emotions and he wonders if she even loves him anymore, but he is sure that his love for his wife has only deepened and intensified over the years. Wilson struggles to find his way back into the heart of the woman he adores.

If you like romances you would like this book. it’s a sequel to THE NOTEBOOK, so if you read that one or saw the movie you will probably get the same vibe from THE WEDDING. On Mitzi’s scale of one to five, this gets a four! I did enjoy this one.
