The Camel Club

Last weekend the SAZCB book club talked about David Baldacci’s book called THE CAMEL CLUB, a suspense novel read by Jonathan Davis. The Camel Club is a group of four dysfunctional men who investigate political conspiracies in Washington, DC. We were all unanimous in really liking this one, and the women even allowed that men would probably like the book even more then woman. I really like hearing that it is a series so I will check out the rest of them. The five series titles are The Camel Club, The Collectors, Stone Cold, Divine Justice, and Hell's Corner.

The next book we will read is THE WEDDING, a romance novel by Nicholas Sparks that is read by Tom Wopat in seven hours. That’s the same Tom Wopat who played Luke Duke! A synopsis from BARD says: “Jane and Wilson Lewis have been married for thirty years. Wilson realized a year ago that the love was gone from his marriage. With the help of Jane's father, Wilson sets out to make his wife fall in love with him again.”

I picked that one so I’ll be the one in the club meeting at SAAVI on June 9 leading the discussion. Wish me luck. I really enjoyed that one and hope that we have a lot of people to discuss it.
